WHy i'm running for state representative

I strongly believe we can work together to create economic growth for our region by investing in education at all levels, by supporting and strengthening our natural resource based economy, and by making critical and overdue investments in our aging and crumbling infrastructure, in addition to, expanding broadband services to our main streets, rural households, businesses, hospitals, and schools across rural Minnesota. Together we can create new jobs by investing in alternative energies, biomass research, and workforce development programs that will provide incentives and encourage new industries and businesses to invest in our communities. Together we can work toward a brighter future. A future that will retain our highly educated and trained work force, youth, and community leaders. A future that supports and invests in the idea of shopping locally, made in Minnesota, and made in America goods, so that we can keep our hard earned dollars here at home where they belong. A future where retired folks, seniors, and our veterans are provided with the cost of living increases, affordable and timely access to healthcare, and pension benefits they have earned and deserve. A future that represents the long standing traditions and values that make us who we are and reminds us why we call northern Minnesota our home. Together we can do anything, together we're stronger, and together we can get the job done.
